With the promulgation of various types of building energy efficiency designstandards, building energy efficiency design has become an enforced professionaldesign. However, due to the design staff just to meet the requirement of the standard atthe end of the design,energy efficiency design has become to energy judgment.Inaddition energy simulation which used in energy efficiency design has many problemsand need for standardization simulation method. Due to the energy consumptioncharacteristics like high energy intensity, the large space, the large flow ofpeople,energy efficiency design of airport terminal need to be studied separately.According to the impact of various factors in the life cycle on energy consumption,and comparing different divide of energy consumption phase in life cycle, it is dividedinto the design phase, construction and commissioning phase, operation andmaintenance stage. Thus leads to the concept of energy efficiency design, then analyzethe principles、methods、tools of energy efficiency design, and analysis the newtechnologies energy simulation separately. Based on the above analysis,and combinedwith the characteristics of the terminal,this article divided the terminal energy efficiencydesign process into three phase:Scheme design stage, preliminary design and detaileddesign stage, compliance and certification stage.In the Phase of scheme stage first analyzes energy intensity of airport, then selectthe indoor environment standards include of thermal and light environment.Thenanalyze the terminal building and it’s equipment characteristics. Finally used climateanalysis software Climate Consultant to give the applicability of different strategies inChengdu and give energy effiency design guidelines of terminal in scheme stage. At the Preliminary design and detailed design stage, thermal partition, standardizedsimulation parameters and the envelope configuration has been determined for ChengduT2. Then from the demand side, the uneven distribution of indoor heat source has beenanalysis and air distribution of Chengdu T1has been test. Then abtained the thermalstratification model which suitable for Room Air Model in EnergyPlus software.As anexample, envelope thermal parameters and thermal partition has been analysis for theGallery.At the stage of compliance and certification, fistly determine the characteristics ofthis phase and analys the energy efficiency standards and its defects. Then compared thedifferences in domestic and international green standard calculation of energyperformance rate, given a modified baseline model which suite for China’s energyperformance rate calculation. Ultimately energy performance rate of Chengdu T2casesdesign model, ASHRAE baseline model, modify the baseline model were calculated.
