Study On The New Rural Communities Design In The Surrounding Countryside Of Xi’an

Into the21st century, the urbanization process of China is very rapid, resulting in thecontradiction between the arable protection and urban construction land developed tothe degree of very sharp, the policy of construction land linked to change between urbanconstruction and rural construction(Linked-To-Change) and the construction of newrural community is the product of this contradiction. Adopt this policy aims to livetogether to promote the intensification of rural construction land，make the savedconstruction land be used for urban construction and development, while ensuring thatthe cultivated area does not be decreased.In recent years, the urban development of Xi’an is very rapid，the contradiction ofconstruction land became intensified, so began to promote the pilot ofLinked-To-Change. By the research to the pilot of Linked-To-Change and reading themedia report, the author learned a lot from the pilot of Linked-To-Change, because ofsimply copy the way of the urban community design,the main concern in the design ofthe new rural community focused on the physical environment making,save land andsave cost, lack of the targeted design study on rural production and living, culturalpractices, spatial characteristics and socio-economic status, leading to pilot new ruralcommunity in the maintenance of traditional habits, the continuation of traditional ruralspace, communication space to create, service facilities with the rural situation andneeds, there are many not suited imperfect place.In this thesis, the researching background is the economic conditions, living habits,human environment and spatial characteristics of the rural in xi’an surrounding, startfrom the overall layout, house design, and space creating, focusing on the design ofresidential space, the street space, community access, community centers and otherimportant node, while make my own thinking and insights in the residential layout, road traffic organizations, green landscape layout. In order to find the specific design ideasand measures, to solve or alleviate the problems arising in the design and constructionof the new rural community, make the residential function is more reasonable,transitional space and communication space more in line with the lives andcommunication habits of farmers, street space more colorful, community public servicemore comprehensive, community environment more beautiful, promote the overallimprovement of material living conditions and human environment in the new ruralcommunity. Strengthen the sense of belonging and identity of farmers in the new ruralcommunity, make the farmers not only living stable, but also living suitable and livinghappy.
