Analyze The Geographic Information Of Urban Traffic Congestion And Research On The Alleviating The Traffic Congestion

With the development of our country’s urbanization, the problem of urban trafficcongestion has become a sticking point that condition urban development. And with theexpansion of urban land-use scales and the accelerating of modern process, it rapidgrowth in maintain the volume of cars, it will bring the city huge traffic pressures, theproblem of traffic congestion is increasingly serious. In city, the speed and quantity ofroad construction rapid growth, but they cannot keep up with the increase in trafficdemands. Combining the problem of traffic congestion, many cities take various kindsof action and way to alleviate the traffic congestion, but it has not been in a goodcondition.Through surveys and analysis, they believe that the problems of trafficmanagement were the main problems of causing the traffic congestion. And the levelsof informative management were low, and which were the important problems ofcausing the problems of traffic management. So, urban traffic problems of informativemanagement are the right direction to develop the urban traffic, and it was the effectivemeasures to alleviate the traffic congestion. The thesis mainly researches the applicationof the geographic information system to analysis the information of traffic congestion,and the application of the analysis results to research the ways to alleviate the trafficcongestion. The experiment result shows that the informative scheme of alleviating thetraffic congestion base on geographic information system to alleviate effectively thetraffic congestion, optimizing the driving condition of road, to improve overall operating efficiency of the urban traffic by which better effect can be obtained.Specifically, on the basis of the vehicle and road’s theory of geographic spaceinformation, under the precondition of understand the correlation theory of trafficcongestion’s relative definitions, classes, attribute, essential features, adopt powerfulideas of geographic information system to analyze the spatial information, to achievethe urban traffic informative management. And alleviating the urban traffic congestionfrom traffic informative management level.To survey and analyze congestion’ssituation and relative data of XI’AN local, it finds that there is traffic congestion in localarea and a certain time period during the process of urban development, and it hasnegative influences upon the healthy development of the whole city. Applied the GISand organized the relative data to analyze the spatial information, and simulatescientifically. Then, the successful schemes are applied in the practical traffic problems.It is mainly analyzed and summarized the traffic information of some road andintersection, using the organizational theory of spatial information of geographicinformation system, combining the network analysis module in ARCGIS, and tosimulate the information of traffic congestion. Communicating the reasonable scheme todrivers through various way, and dispatch effectively the vehicle, so as to achieve thegoals of alleviating the traffic congestion through balancing the traffic flow. Theexperiment result shows that applied the ideas of spatial information in GIS, which itcould analyze, organize, simulate effectively the spatial information of vehicle. And bythe urban traffic informative management to achieve the goals of alleviating the trafficcongestion.
