New Measure To Alleviate Traffic Congestion Based On The Combined Traffic Simulation Models

Traffic jam/congestion now has become a big problem, which appear at almost big cities. Traffic jams still exist in Chongqing. At present, traffic jam becomes urban nuisance,such as development of society and economy, people's life, and so on. The governance for traffic jam is complicated and systematical project. The concept of the traffic simulation model combination is used here, it provides a new research method, has a theoretical value and a practical applications value.Firstly, the article discusses the theoretical knowledge related to traffic simulation and comparative analysis traffic simulation model.Secondly, using TransCAD traffic simulation model of traffic analysis on macro-level based on investigate the status of traffic control and the detailed planning, reaching distribution of traffic flow at the current and the OD distribution matrix in planning. OD matrix will be applied to the traffic simulation model TransModeler, to carry out traffic analysis on micro-level, and receive the traffic situation in planning year.At the micro-simulation, conducting traffic signal control analysis on intersections by aaSIDRA, and optimized design of signal control. It evaluates traffic jam by AHP. The method can optimize traffic jam, and prove by an example in Yangjiaping area in ChongqingThis thesis applies three traffic simulation model together, to research on macro-level, micro-level and given situation. An innovation point is combined TransCAD,TransModeler and aaSIDRA to study, to provide a new idea to solve traffic program.
