Along with the rapid development of mechanical manufacturing, it has been higher proposed for aircraft manufacturing on aircraft assembly method, such as high quality, short cycle, low cost and adaptive to multiple varieties of production requirements. It has been analyzed the domestic and forign airplan assembly direction in the prezent situation and development tendency, and introduced the design and realization of one type aircraft fuselage flexible tooling’s control system in detail. TaiDa PLC served as the next bit controller in this system, and the tooling blessing end can be precise positioning by multiaxial sets of servo motor. It can be real-time online displayed assembly process by supervisory computer, by which the user can monitor assembly processing.Considering the characteristics of airplane assembly, this paper introduces flexible tooling project requirements. First, it has designed the selection of hardware platform in detail, and then designed tooling platform hardware selection, servo system, system modeling and simulation and the software design planning respectively.Through calculated and analyzed the parameters of the ball screw and servo motor, the author have chosed correspongding model product to meet the flexible platform’s requiement. Fully compared and anaylyzed servo control technical, motion control scheme and control system structure, the author have adopted the scheme which make up of industrial PC + PLC semi-closed loop servo control system as the plane of the flexible assembly control scheme. In the study of system modeling theory basis, the author modeled mechanism method in tooling system. By using simulink, analyzed system error and set out one solutions to decrease this error.This paper analyzed the airplane assembly process real-time dynamic display key problem, the next bit control procedures, communication program and supervisory computer display monitor need mutual coordination. Communication parts of the program play the most important role in the control system, monitor the next bit controller state, and transfer to supervisory computer corresponding data. The whole control system hardware and software installation debugging, optimized the servo system control parameters and ensured the stability of the system.
