With the development and progress of society, the demanded of snowplow is more and more in China. The traditional design methods lack of innovation. Therefore, it is a profound significance to improve the innovation of snowplow to meet the requirements by using the advanced design methods and theories.In this paper, the major task is to design and development a new snowplow by using the TRIZ theory to get the optimization program of evolution and using optimization theory and VP in the structure design and performance analysis to obtain the optimization snow structure.Firstly, according to ways of analyzing problems in the TRIZ theory, author determines the snowplow ideal solution, available resources of evolution and establishes the functional analysis model of the snowplow. Author makes use of the house of quality combining the ideal solution, available resources and functional analysis model to determine the technology conflicts and physical conflict.Secondly, by utilizing the conflict matrix and the separation principles, author finds the inventive principles of resolving the technical conflicts and the physical conflict. According to the corresponding inventive principles and the experience of designer, author determines the feasible scheme for the evolution of snowplow and optimization program after analyzing the feasible options.Author optimizes the parameters of the mixing and transporting snow parts with the SQP algorithm and iSIGHT software to obtain the satisfactory optimization results and optimizes topology and topography of the snowplow with OptiStruct software to get the optimal structure.Finally, author establishes VP of snowplow with the Pro/e and the ADAMS software and optimizes the contact force with OPTDES-SQP Algorithm. The inclusion shows that the contact force is reduced by 51.9%.After the researching, it gets an inclusion that using TRIZ theory can effectively shorten the design time and improve the evolution of snowplow and using optimal design theory, VP theory in the structure design and analysis of snowplow can effectively reduce the design costs and improve product performance. The paper not only designs a new type of snowplow successfully, but also provides a new research ways to designers to do product design.
