Denand And Supply Analysis And Optimal Allocation Of Water Resources In Datong County

Water resources is the basis of economic and social development in Datong county. The water problems, such as shortage of water resources, lower utilization ratio of water resources and water pollution, become one of the main factors that restrict the economic and social development in Datong county. With further development of economy and social, increase of population, these issues will be exacerbated. Thus, how to reasonably manage, utilize and protect the water resources of Datong county, concern the sustainable economic and social development of Datong county.Based on collecting previous data and field investigation, this paper evaluate the water resources through water quality and quantity, then analyze changed trend of water resources; on the basis of water supply, use, consume, and drain, the water level is analyzed and the problems in exploitation of water resources are discussed. According to twelfth five-year plan of Datong county and predicted indices of economy and sociality of various industry, by adopting indices method and trend method, the water demand is predicted for each administrative division and plan division in different planned years. Refer to developed and utilized potential of water resources in recent years, combine with the new planning water resources projects, the allowable yield of water supply is forecasted and supply-demand balance is analyzed. With AHP method, industry priorities of water is evaluated, the result shows that the priorities of water in Datong county is as follows:drinking water, ecological water, construction water, trees fishery water, third industrial water, agricultural water and industrial water. Through establishing the multi-objective linear programming model of water resources optimization, the optimal allocation of water resources is done for each division in Datong county. According to the result of optimal allocation, the water conservancy projects are arranged and the treatment plan is carried out. The results could provide references for water resources management, decision, and sustainable exploitation in Datong county.
