Glazed hollow bead insulation concrete is a new building materials, which mixes glazed hollow bead and admixtures in ordinary concrete. The material is bearing general physical and mechanical properties of concrete, and it also has excellent thermal insulation performance. Glazed hollow bead insulation concrete can be used in structures, while it completes the main building structure, it also complete the thermal project. It not only simplify the design and construction process of building insulation works, also realize the effect of bare concrete, it can save a lot of insulation works, construction costs; in particular, because of the light weight, the reasonable force, it can avoid the quality, safety incidents, which are caused by general insulation of the main structure and the insulating layer which are not solid.Under normal working conditions, concrete structures due to which the absolute value of the ambient temperature is not high, the volatility is not big, in accordance with the existing concrete standards for design, it can ensure structural safety and meet the requirements of the use of the building. However, once the building fire occurred in a very short period of time, the temperature rose rapidly, the maximum temperature can be up to above1000℃, the material properties of its structure as the temperature rises serious deterioration will occur severe within the heavy force distribution, the performance of the structure greatly weakened, and endanger the safety of the structure, or even lead to serious accidents and make people’s lives and property suffered huge losses. Some of the concrete structures, the long period under normal operating conditions, high temperature environments, such as high-temperature metallurgy and chemical industry workshop, the chimney of the high temperature flue gas emissions and nuclear reactor pressure vessel and containment under the influence of these structures in the high-temperature radiation temperatures can be up to200℃-300℃. Therefore, to promote the use of glass beads of insulation concrete, it must be test the high-temperature performance of glazed hollow bead insulation concrete. It may provide basis for the restoration and reinforcement of fired structures. Around the mechanical tests on glazed hollow bead insulation concrete after high temperature, the paper launched the following works:The first, it is determined the test program based on the high temperature test of ordinary concrete. There are six temperature levels in this experiment the specimen from room temperature heating per liter high100℃for20minutes, continue to heat until the temperature reaches the design temperature, then they will be heated2hours; specimens of different temperatures are maintained to the natural cooling at room temperature, water cooling at room temperature. The second, at the same raw materials, experimental conditions and environment, the paper tested the performance of glazed hollow bead insulation concrete in different temperatures, different cooling methods, and Compare analysis with the same conditions as ordinary concrete to study of high-temperature performance of glazed hollow bead insulation concrete.The third, compared with the specimens at room temperature20℃in appearance, physical and chemical of glazed hollow bead insulation concrete after high temperature and cooling, observed and analyzed to produce the phenomena.The fourth, experimental researches were made on the variation of concrete mechanical behavior with different temperature and different cooling methods, included compress stress, elastic modulus, split-strength, it is established the relationship between the performance and temperature by using the test data.Experimental studies have shown that:it was found that the color and crack of the glazed hollow bead insulation concrete were similar to those of normal concrete, its basic mechanical properties were same as the ordinary concrete,with increasing temperature its basic mechanical properties showed varying degrees of decline; At the same temperature, strength indexes are higher in the natural cooling at room temperature than water cooling at room temperature.
