The Highway Traffic Accident Characteristics And The Study Of The Guidance And Control Strategy

Along with the increasing of traffic flow, driving to speed up, the increasing of the transport of dangerous goods types and some other factors, the highway traffic accident occurred frequently, traffic congestion and delays which caused by highway accidents will cause huge economic losses, at the same time, the second accident caused serious damage to the people’s life and property security.in order to reduce traffic delay, avoid secondary accidents caused by highway traffic accident and ensure people travel security better, we must strengthen highway traffic flow guidance and control in the condition of highway traffic accident.Firstly, this paper systematically discussed the necessity of the traffic guidance and control after the highway traffic accident.through to investigation and analysis of ChengYu highway, YuWan highway and Jie Shui highway traffic accident, this paper summarized the highway traffic accident characteristics, including the types of the highway traffic accident, different influence of the different types in traffic accident and the characteristics of the tunnel accident.Secondly, for each type of highway traffic accident characteristics, using decision tree model of traffic accident, this paper analyzed blocked time. Then using jams length predict-model, according to different jam time and traffic flow situation, for the highway traffic accident caused by blockage of length of prediction research,combined with the actual situation road section, we make sure of the controlling area and influence area which provide conditions for guidance and control strategy.Finally, with Miao Liang tunnel fire accident, for example, in the determination of the highway traffic accident controlling area and influence area, this paper estabilshed real-time traffic guidance and control strategy quickly. Combined with the highway traffic guidance and control facilities and equipment, we proposed reasonable guidance and control strategy of the control areas and influence area to avoid the enlargement of the disaster and the second accident.
