Urban Traffic Congestion Analysis And Governance Strategy In Xi'an City

Traffic is becoming more and more important for economic development.In recent years,China's urbanization is developing faster and faster,the social development is becoming more and more perfect,people's living standard is improving,and the number of private cars in cities is increasing,which leads to the traffic congestion problem more and more serious.In today's society,traffic congestion problems in many first-tier cities such as Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,and so on,have become very serious,and have even had a great negative impact on local economic development.How to improve traffic congestion has gradually become an important content of urban transportation management and development.With the deepening of reform and opening-up.Traffic congestion in recent years.The problems are gradually spreading from Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and other first-tier cities to new-line and second-tier cities.As an important city in the central and western regions of China,the rapid growth of private cars has exposed many problems within the city,such as unreasonable urban planning,inadequate public transport channels,and inadequate priority public transport policies.The low efficiency of traffic management policy,the lack of comprehensive traffic development strategy and so on,to some extent,have aggravated the problem of traffic congestion,and have not only brought negative impact to people's lives.It will also affect the social and economic development of Xi'an,whether it is the government leaders or experts and scholars.They are trying to solve the social problem of traffic jams.Based on the questionnaire survey,this paper constructs a conceptual model of urban traffic congestion from the perspective of individual perception of Xi'an citizens,and makes an empirical test by means of confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model.Combined with the latest traffic road data of Xi'an Traffic and Transportation Administration Bureau,it is concluded that the imperfect traffic infrastructure is the main factor causing residents to feel congested,followed by the lag in the development of public transport.Weak awareness of traffic safety and occasional incidents.In terms of transportation infrastructure,residents in Xi'an are more concerned about the impact of imperfect road markings,the number of parking lots and the unreasonable setting of traffic lights on individual perception.The lack of bus lanes and unreasonable bus and subway frequency affect residents' travel experience.Mobile connectivity will ease the congestion of urban residents,rather than the use of navigation software travel,residents believe that the network rental car to alleviate congestion more.Combined with the analysis of the specific causes of traffic congestion in Xi'an this paper studies and analyzes the relevant cities at home and abroad,and finds out the specific measures suitable for Xi'an to use for reference.Finally,this paper analyzes and summarizes the strategies of Xi'an city traffic congestion management from the aspects of policy,main body of participation and ways of governance,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
