The Research On Traffic Jams Caused By Occupying-road Construction In Jinan

In recent years,with the accelerating process of the city modernization,Jinan,as the capital of Shandong Province,in order to accelerate the pace of urbanization,conducts a series of large-scale construction projects,including " the integration of highway and expressway","sponge city construction" and new subways,thus makes Jinan the most congested city.However,Such large scale of occupying-road constructions have made the city's traffic become near paralyzed and brought great trouble to the citizens' normal work and life.In responding to the current situation of traffic jams,this paper analyzes the traffic characteristics of occupying-road construction areas and its impact on the traffic.On this basis,study the measures of relieving the traffic jams in the area of occupying-road construction through traffic organization and traffic management,combining the occupying-road construction situation,in order to achieve the aim of relieving the traffic jams in the occupyingroad construction area in Jinan.The main work of this thesis is as follows: summering the foreign studies of the occupying-road construction,including the correlate concepts,traffic impacts,traffic organization and traffic management about the occupying-road construction.Studying the traffic characters of roads,vehicles,and people in the occupying-road construction area,focusing on the partial occupying-road construction.Introducing respectively the traffic impact and influential scope of partial occupying-road construction through the analysis,the discount and the equivalence of the road traffic capacity.Analyzing the general traffic situation in Jinan and in such view rethink about the traffic jam problems in the occupying-road construction area,and also the reasons considering the situation of Jinan.On the basis of learning from the general principles and process of the traffic organization,design respectively the traffic organization in the view of all kinds of vehicles in the construction area.Put forward the traffic management measures in the terms of traffic facilities,traffic orders,travel information and dynamic monitoring.Using the practical example of the viaduct southern extension of Shunhe in Jinan,and combining the four prior chapters,analyze in detail the reasons of the traffic jams in the occupying-road construction area and study comprehensively the measures to the traffic jams.
