Study On Problems Of City Traffic Congestion Based On The Traffic Simulation Models

Traffic congestion is the common fault of the major cities in the world today, it will be fromthe aspects such as society, economy, life affect the healthy development of cities. Urbantraffic problem is a “plex giant system”, the causes of traffic congestion is also a “polymers”,It is made up of a number of related factors, and the mutual influence, interaction, such associety, economy, population, land use, urban development and other factors.Under thepremise, the paper combines macroscopic simulation and microscopic simulation, for instancein the area of the lanzhou specific analysis, validation, to try to establish a new idea to solvethe problem of urban traffic congestion. First, this paper expounds the relevant theory oftraffic congestion, traffic simulation. Second, to the situation of traffic of lanzhou and thecorresponding analysis residents travel characteristics. Then, in the selected study area,through the use of Transcad software, from a macro perspective, the study area traffic analysis,the present situation and the future in the distribution of traffic flow and OD matrix; From themicro perspective, in the study area for the future of the important node, road, intersectiontraffic analysis and evaluation, and put forward the corresponding optimization measures.Finally, again through the Vissim microcosmic simulation, the rationality and validity of thevalidation method. By respectively from the perspective of macro and micro point of view,the optimized simulation compare again and the status quo, especially for the importantparameters of the urban traffic environment before and after comparison, it is not hard to find,according to different actual conditions reasonably setting up the traffic simulation modelparameters, the optimized result is always better than the state before the optimization, and,on the basis of the further analysis and research, to adjust the parameters of the simulationoptimization model, the simulation of the optimization effect is rising, if, in accordance withsuch steps, within a reasonable optimization limits, always able to find a practical objectiveexistence under the condition of the optimization of the extreme value, and theimplementation of the traffic simulation process is easy, it is more suitable for the rapiddevelopment of urban traffic in our country, low cost, high efficiency to improve the citytraffic congestion problem, is also the main direction of the current urban traffic congestionproblem solving. In general, Scientific and rational use of traffic simulation technology tosolve the problem of urban traffic congestion is according to the can depend on, it alsoprovides the problems in the future to explore a new way of thinking.
