Railway is the main channel of the transportation of Chinese coal. According to the statistics, the railway traffic volume of coal has been close to more than70%of the total volume. At present the efficient way of the production of coal all use compound mining equipment. The process of mining needs a lot of water to control dust and the high temperature of equipment; the deep-processing of coal and wash coal need a lot of water too. These causes cause coal contain a lot of water. It’s cold in winter in the north of China. Because there is water in coal, the coal is easy frozen when transported in winter. If not handled in a timely manner, it is not only to bring a lot of difficulties to unloading and impact the vehicle turnover and coal transportation efficiency, but also directly affect the shipper and the economic benefits of the railway departments. Compared with the other method for thaw, spraying antifreeze has the small investment, with quick effect and saving energy etc. In order to spray various sizes of carriages effectively, it requests spraying device can adapt to all kinds of specifications carriage. This paper put forward and studies a kind of antifreeze spraying device which can lift and rotate to improve the existing spraying device. The main research works are as follows:1. The project design of antifreeze spraying device. Aiming at the existing spraying device, we put forward a new kind of spraying device. The main technical parameters of antifreeze spraying device are given at last.2. The analysis of kinematics characteristics of antifreeze spraying device. The kinematics characteristics of antifreeze spraying device are analyzed.3. The digital design of antifreeze spraying device. According to the design requirements, the key part’s dimension of the antifreeze spraying device is calculated. Using the UG software, a complete digital model of the antifreeze spraying device is accomplished. Moreover, the virtual assembly and the interference check are also done.4. The kinematics simulation and analysis of antifreeze spraying device. Applying the ADAMS software, the virtual prototyping model is established. Moreover, the kinematics simulation and analysis of antifreeze spraying device are carried out.5. The structural analysis of antifreeze spraying device. Based on the finite element theory, the main components are analyzed through the ANSYS software. The static analysis of the spindle, the connecting stem and the supporting stem is done.
