| Residential area evaluation, as an adjunct of the settlements plan, design, managementand a feedback mechanism to improve the level of residence construction, has greatsignificance in improving the level of residence construction and creating a good residentialenvironment. By means of systematic and standardized, it collects the evaluation of objectiveresidential environment and resident satisfaction, and feedback to all aspects of the residenceconstruction. However, our residential environment evaluation mostly start from the designerspoint of view, ignoring the feelings of residents. It is difficult that the designer and managersget users’ needs, and users feedback their own housing needs.Sport Center Environs is the core area of living space in Tianhe, Guangzhou, withvarious types of settlements and resident. It is an ideal research area of different types ofresidential satisfaction.Based on this, the paper will evaluate the residential area in Sport Central District fromthe residents perception, with SD method.The main content of the paper consists of tree parts, which are basic research, evaluationand analysis, and conclusion. The basic research part includes Chapter1and2, which mainlydescribed the research background, purpose, meaning, method, content, and researchsummary. The evaluation and analysis part includes Chapter3and4, which analysis theresidential satisfaction evaluation and its influence factors by SD method. The conclusion partincludes Chapters5and6. Some conclusions are got through research, they are as follows:The overall satisfaction of the residents has great relationship with the residentialmanagement, public green space and construction standards.The overall satisfaction of the residents in Sport Center Environs residential area ismainly influenced by12evaluation factors. Of which the feeling of space, the level ofcrowding, noise, and the privacy are the greatest influenced ones.29satisfaction factor is not independent of each other, and can be explained by sevenpotential common factors. Of which Property management and space comfort factor is themost important for the residential satisfaction. it should be serious considered in the designand management of settlements. Residential areas’ degree of openness have a significant negative-correlation with noise,privacy, overall satisfaction and other factors. Which is the most important indicator inresidential satisfaction.In a whole, the FAR hasn’t a decisive influence on resident evaluation of the residentialenvironment. While during those residential areas with lower degree of openness, the FARhas a significant negative-correlation with the level of crowding, the feeling of space. Byimproving the infrastructure and facilities, increasing the concentrated public green space, andoptimizing management, etc., the negative impact on the residential environment caused bythe high FAR can be weaken to some extent.During the residential area of less than10hectares, land scale has a comparatively highercorrelation with the outdoor space and degree of greening. The green rate has a significantpositive correlation with space feel, outdoor space, the degree of greening. Public green spacerate has a significant positive correlation with the level of crowding and air quality.There isn’t obvious correlation between both the commercial proportion and thesatisfaction evaluation. Through rational planning, design and post management, we canreduce the negative impact of function mixing. |
