Since the manufacturing of the first elevator over one hundred years ago, and with theadvancement of the worldwide urbanization, the elevator industry has developed drastically.Elevators have become a kind of vertical vehicle indispensable to city dwellers. For a verylong time in the future, the development of the elevator industry will gather furthermomentum.For example in China, with the deepening of urbanization, the needs for elevatorswill keep growing rapidly.At present, although in this field the scientific research has reached a high level and allthe technologies are forging ahead with enormous investment in research and development,there is still a shortage of skilled workers in installation, commissioning and maintenance,which has posed a threat to the development in the elevator industry in China. In recent years,some vocational colleges and enterprises of foresight have realized the importance ofcultivating front-line elevator workers, so they have adopted a school-enterprise cooperationpattern to cultivate front-line workers in this field.Under present circumstances, a set of quality equipment for elevator technology teachingappears all the more important. Based on the urgent needs for specialized teaching, this paperexpounds how to design a set of analogue elevator equipment which is suitable for teachingand can help students study elevator structures, control technology and breakdownmaintenance skill.This paper explains in detail about the main units and its working principles inmechanical system of elevator, dragging system and control system.It adopts the solutionsystem which uses the PLC and frequency-inverter to control the elevators.It choices the typeof PLC and main dragging frequency-inverter. It determines the parameters settings, andfinally presents the main control circuit and main program of elevator.And explains how to setthe simulated fault point, and how to make use of the touch screen in the system...
