With the advancement of technology and the further development of auto industry, thelevel of social productive forces increased significantly, car gradually became an integralvehicle of people’s daily life. Increased car bring many prominent social problems, one ofwhich is the contradiction between the shortages of land resources and rapidly increasingnumber of cars more and more serious. Parking problems become prominent increasingly.Stereo garage came into being in the environment. The establishment of stereo garage is aneffective measure to solve the parking problem in the city. Depending on the size of marketdemand, stereo garage needs to diversify to meet the needs of users at different levels, soin-depth study of stereo garage, design hardware reliability, control systems stability, HMIinterface friendly, storage and retrieval operation of the stereo garage easily is a verymeaningful work.This paper analyzes the basic framework, structure and operation of the stereo garage,designs a stereo garage control system based on Siemens touch screen and PLC. Thevisibility of the touch screen and the stability of PLC meanwhile the compatibility betweenthem are fully used in the control system. The whole control system apply PLC as corecontrol equipment to control normal operation of the stereo garage, establishing aPROFIBUS-DP field bus communication networks, S7-300series PLC CPU315-2DP as amaster station of the communications network, touch screen MP270B, frequency converterMM440and distribution type I/O devices ET200M as slave stations of communicationnetwork. Touch screen is used for interface, completing storage and retrieval car with the helpof owner’s operation, it real-time updates and display stereo garage status; through frequencyconverter to achieve the three-phase asynchronous motor speed control, controlling stereogarage lift speed of car carrier board; inputs and outputs in stereo garage are connected todistributed I/O devices ET200M. The garage state signal collected and control commandswill be sent via the field bus to complete the exchange of information with the CPU. Byextension module CP341, PLC control the garage electronically commutated agencies,depending on requirement to transfer the motor power to lifting equipment of target carcarrier board unit.Network hardware configuration of PLC system, user programs written and systemprograms called is done in Siemens programming software STEP7. In the process of the hardware configuration, set the bus, DP master and slave station parameters, including thestation address of each device, bus communication protocol, input and output device address.Meanwhile, in this paper, a detailed design of PLC control drive through the DP bus and PLCPtP communication program is designed. Human-machine interface programming softwarevia WinCC flexible completed design, including touch screen and PLC connection, the screen,the connection variables.In this paper, the stereo garage control system designed is simulated and debugged,andthen conducted a laboratory kind debugging. The stereo garage control system designedstructure reasonable, human-machine interface friendly, storage and retrieval car higherefficiency, system reliability, and it has a certain application value.
