Globoidal indexing cam mechanism is an important part of the modern manufacturing and the mechanical transmission. We can get a rolled transmission structure instead of a slidable one by improving the design of traditional globular indexing cam groove and indexing plate, as well as adding balls which are the third components. Although we have already gained great success in the mechanical design and processing manufacturing of globoidal indexing cam mechanism, we could not solve the problem of accuracy fundamentally by changing the outline curve of cam, the shape of roller and the shape of indexing plate. Considering the mechanical and electrical factors, we succeed in finishing the simulative research for mechanical and electrical coupling of globoidal indexing cam mechanisms by using the combinatorial simulation of ADAMS and MATLAB which have been controlled in different ways. The main research contents of this thesis are below:First, refer to the cut shape design of the ball screw groove, by raising the question of cut shape design of the double arc cam groove, improving the structure of indexing plate and adding the third transmitting component of roller, we succeeded in getting a rolled transmission structure instead of a slidable one. We apply the PRO/E and MATLAB to structure the cam three-dimensionallly, analyze the main factor to affect the institution pressure angle and propose the improved method.Second, when we do not take the mechanical and electrical impact into consideration, by using ADAMS to conduct the motional simulation for ball type globular indexing cam mechanism, we get the simulated results of output angle accelerated speed,the speed and so on, which are the elementary analyses for the simulated result.Third, when we take the mechanical and electrical impact into consideration, by using ADAMS to get the controllable module for ball type globular indexing cam mechanism, analyzing the vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor, setting up its mathematical model, using MATLAB/SIMULINK to conduct the controllable module for permanent magnet synchronous motor and combining the controlled module and controllable system for ball type globular indexing cam mechanism, we succeeded in combined simulation. By simulating the PI controller and fuzzy PI controller, as well as comparing all results of simulation, we can make the conclusion that the dynamical function that is controlled by fuzzy PI controller is better.Forth, we study the material object of ball type globular indexing cam mechanism. We introduce each parameter first and get the parameters. Then we study the motional experiment of mechanism and get the motional curve of angle accelerated speed for output shaft, which provides effective experimental datum to the previous simulative result and supports the accuracy for simulation.From the above study, we succeed in designing globoidal indexing cam with ball and analyzing the motion of mechanical and electrical coupling, which establishes the theory basis for structure optimization for subsequent ball type globular indexing cam mechanism.
