The Research Of Green Transport Based On BRT And The Non-motorized Traffic In Changsha

Throughout the city development, it can be seen that the development of transportation and that of the city can be regarded as an inseparable organic whole, since they influence each other. However, with the sustained economic growth, the development of urbanization and industrialization has sped up. The traffic problem has become a major barrier to sustainable social and economic development of cities. In such a situation, the "Green Transportation" came into being. Green transportation is the only way to achieve the sustainable development of transportation. Its essence is the scalability of resources, environment and system. It aims at pursuing the freedom of human rights, including the harmony, security and health of human-beings, environment and society. Green transportation doesnot only indicates the degree of a nation’s civilization, but also represents to what extent has the modern society and economy developed.This paper refers to improve the conclusion through on foot traffic environment in Changsha; Install public bicycle system, optimize the bicycle road network; plan6BRT lines in Changsha city and improve public transportation proportion. Perfecting the road section and design reasonable cross roads and use intelligent transportation management, increase static traffic management and use new energy to replace traditional fuel; increase public participation and increase the proportion of green transportation, finally strive to make Changsha city’s traffic change to the direction of lowed carbon, convenient and quick, green civilization.
