In the informatization construction of power plant, the target of automation andmanagement integration should be achieved through paying attention to theintegration of all production control system and management information system inplant scope. Research of load optimal dispatch benefits the economic operation andscientific management. The real-time calculation of power supply coal consumptionrate was realized by calculating the boiler efficiency and steam turbine efficiencyonline through economic performance calculation; after data pretreatment, the formof quadratic polynomial fitting curve was utilized. The target function of coalconsumption minimum based on unit coal consumption characteristics wasestablished; then, double optimization of unit start-stop and load distribution wasachieved with the consideration of constraint condition and time constraint usingenhanced particle swarm optimization algorithm, which contains the information ofunit start-stop; compared with equal incremental principle,dispatching results weremore economic. But the instability of intelligent optimization algorithm is hard toadapt the actual operation demand of power plant. Double optimization of unitstart-stop and load distribution was achieved using database technology and thequadratic programming after obtaining the future state of units through analyzing thecurrent and historical operation state with the consideration of constraint condition,which contains the minimum operation and shutdown constraint and total loadconstraint; compared with intelligent optimization methods,dispatching results weremore stable, economic and fast.The mixed programming of C++Builder and Matlab was used to develop thedispatching software in power plant level. Real time calculation and display of coalconsumption characteristic curve and dispatching software based on unit minimumcoal consumption was achieved through developing human-computer interface byC++Builder and compiling the M file of Matlab to DLL file or C++source file. Detach the operation environment of Matlab, the software not only ensures theaccuracy and the efficiency of the calculation, but also saves the system resources,which meet the basic requirements of practical application. A lot of real-time dataneeded in the process of development and test for dispatching software was generatedby the program developed by Visual C++, which simulated the acquisition data fromDCS and written the database for analyzing by dispatching software.The data interface program was developed using Visual Basic based on the OPCstandard according to the actual network structure in the power plant, which realizesthe synchronous read of field data and provides the real-time data for database indispatching software.
