With the grid structure toward the direction of the development of the intelligent network,power quality has become a prominent issue. In order to improve the electrical environment,improve energy efficiency, reduce energy loss and increase social benefits, to achieve energyconservation, we need to understand and improve power quality. To this end, the detection ofnon-sinusoidal conditions, the various parameters of the power quality indicators and their analysis,they are way of solving power quality problems and improving power quality, and the current needsof the times. Therefore, the power detection system is important to study the non-sinusoidalconditions.In this paper, a comprehensive approach to quality management, power detection system fornon-sinusoidal conditions, access to a large number of domestic and foreign literature to understandthe research status on the basis of the following contents:First of all, introduced total quality management approach is based on, briefly discusses the useof total quality management approach in the course of the study of power detection system.Combination of electricity detection developed by non-sinusoidal conditions to carry out advanceplanning, the planning stage P: test theory, the parameters of the calculation methods and systemcomponents constructed to determine, from the principle and experimental feasibility analysis. Itanalyzes and assesses sources of uncertainty on the system, and distributes each component ofuncertainty.Secondly, based on the idea of the overall system design, according to the development process,it analyzes the measurement error of four components: signal conversion link, the signalprocessing,aspects of the data, acquisition aspects of software. It analysis links this to analyze andtestvalidation,determines the best system development program, and developes a design program.Thirdly, in the hardware side,it sets out to determine the sensor specifications and thecorresponding power switch, sets up the differential data acquisition unit circuit, the design ofanti-aliasing filter unit. In software design and development of software modules,it includes dataacquisition module, the parameter calculation module, the data storage module, the data playbackmodule, report generator module, remote communication module. The implementation process andexperimental verification of the relevant results are discussed in detail.Finally, it explains the details of non-sinusoidal conditions, the composition of the energydetection system and the assembly of the kind. Calibration and detection of power in the laboratoryand the Japanese Yokogawa power meter right, they made an inspection of the system as a whole bythe power detection system to send the calibration facilities at a higher level. The detection energydata of the system is in line with the objectives and functions of system parameters set, and developthe consolidation measures in entire system development process. The system can detect powerquality situation, provide technical support for the improvement of power quality, have a broadapplication prospects.
