The passage mainly discusses the development of Foreign Architectural History coursesin BUCEA. By researching the relationship among Architectural History, Architecture andArchitectural Education, the logic which mainly affecting the Foreign Architectural Historycourses is determined: The school should establish training goals according to its ownconditions and the need of society, then a teaching mode of the undergraduate education ofArchitecture should be founded, and the specific subject of architecture will be built at last.According to this logic, the author studied the characters of Foreign ArchitecturalHistory courses and the teaching process of these courses, and referred some relationteaching practice both at home and abroad, and investigated the actual situation of ForeignArchitectural History courses in BUCEA. Ultimately the author designed an experimentalteaching program about Foreign Architectural History courses in BUCEA. It tries to providesome new idea for the developing of the Foreign Architectural History courses. |
