| During the management of construction project life cycle, the project implementationphase is the formation stage of the project entity, and the project construction managementphase is the important content in the project implementation phase. Controlling the progressof the project construction management phase is the main measure to ensure realizing theprogress control of the whole construction project. The general task of the progress control inthe construction phase is to effectively coordinate and use all kinds of resources to realize theproject management goal on the basis of meeting the requirement for the general progressplan of the project construction. This article studies the control of a specific project over theprogress management to raise the efficiency of project management.Firstly, this article introduces the present theories about the project progress management,and then analyses the features of the cathaykylin project and the problems commonly existingduring the progress management. Then in the actual project construction management, it usesthe theories and methods of the progress management to build a work breakdown structure(WBS) for the project and confirm the successive relations of the construction process andresponsibility assignment matrix (RAM), meanwhile adopts network technology to draw upthe project progress network diagram and Gantt chart, and uses S-shaped curve comparisonmethod and earned value analysis method to check and analyze the progress control.Moreover, it discusses the ensuring measures of realizing the project progress managementgoal for the purpose of scientifically working out and effectively controlling the projectprogress. In addition, this article analyzes the economic optimization for the project progressplan. The progress management of construction projects is the indispensable part ofconstruction management with its important position and special role. The studies in thearticle can provide reference for similar projects in terms of the progress management. |
