Green development is now becoming a tendency under the globalized low-carbondevelopment. Therefore, it is quite significant to know how to reduce the elevator energyconsumption and improve the elevator running efficiency. Out of question, the premise ofcarrying out the elevator work is to establish the unified detection methods and evaluationcriteria of the elevator energy consumption efficiency. Detection methods and evaluationcriteria of the elevator energy consumption efficiency have always been the research focusat home and abroad for the past many years.This essay sets the background of the research program of technology and criteria ofelevator energy efficiency detection in Guangzhou Institute of Standardization to developand design the detective system of the elevator energy consumption. The core of the systemis to develop the detective terminal of the elevator energy consumption and detective systemsoftware. It is a series of integrated intelligent control system which fuses software,hardware and communication. Its purpose is to realize the detection and monitoring to thepresent main elevator models.Based on the current research situation of domestic and foreign elevator energyefficiency field, the essay comes up with the elevator energy efficiency evaluation methodon measuring the workload that the payload the lift car transports can bear and measuringthe power consumption under this circumstance. Based on this method, the essay designsthe inspecting terminal of the elevator energy efficiency which can effectively simplify themeasuring process.The function of existing efficiency detectors is unitary and they are not quite practical.The efficiency detective terminal the essay designed is mainly consisted of terminalcontroller, weighing detector and stroke detector. They send the measurement data to thedata receiver module of the inspecting center by GPRS module. Finally the system is to be measured, and through themeasurement the system can well reach the purpose of inspecting elevator energy efficiencyat real time.The research results can realize the real-time monitoring of the elevator energyefficient.
