Accompany with development and progress of city at present, it is more and more acute ofarchitectural subrogation. Under the influence, more and more traditional buildings has beingfaced the choosing for live or death during time of cities’ developing, the same as study onprotection, reconstruction and regeneration of traditional buildings taking on.However, a kind oftraditional buildings may playing a role as Vulnerable Group. They were constructed by localpeople and artisans and combine results of civil cultures and traditional crafts. They what maderoots in long history traditional culture and experienced even thousands of years andenvironment changes, are showing wisdom and wealth created by people of all nationalitiesunder different environment, social culture and construction technologies using polychromecultural connotation, unique and fickle forms of space and scientific construction technologies.They are traditional Dwellings. Comparing to traditional palaces and settlements, this kind of oldbuildings can not meet the requirement level of relics protection, but they do represented thecharacter of generation. Trying to answer questions raised out of situations above, thedissertation will exactly discuss the place-changing protection and reusing of this kind of oldbuildings through a practical project.Objectives of the dissertation are two of few traditional yards locating in square city ofShenyang. To keep them away from the attack made by development of cities, the two yards willbe removed into Architectural Heritage Base of Shenyang Jianzhu University. The author will bebased on the practice of investigation and research, through such as these methods that literaturereading,comparative analysis,practical participationto to research the two traditional dwellingsof exsitu conservation and regeneration.Article first from the theoretical to the instance of the Chinese wood construction feasibilityof ex situ conservation experience and practice, discusses the traditional houses of ex situconservation and regeneration; and then through the study of the background analysis, sitesurvey mapping, componentthe dismantling of the entire set of this study provide a strongtheoretical and data support; then the reconstruction of these two traditional residential design,construction recovery, space regeneration practice based on content, discusses the traditionalhouses in the ex situ conservation and regeneration processthe design and construction methods;finally to create a discourse on the ecological environment of these two traditional houses in theex situ conservation and regeneration process of the application techniques and technologyupdates to ensure the sustainable development of traditional houses; the end of the articlesummarizes theproblems encountered in the ex situ conservation and regeneration process of theoperating procedures and construction of the two traditional houses. In addition, behind the bodyof the article, the author excerpt records and drawings from preliminary research to the designand construction of the post-analysis of this study with like.I hope that through this study to provide a reference for the future similar projects and helppreserved better in the future the long history of traditional Chinese houses.
