Research On The Project Of Urban And Rural Transport Integration

With the rapid development of China’s economy and the improvement ofurbanization and vehicle traffic automatization, the traffic is becoming a thornyproblem. For the convenience and positive external economy, the local governmentspay more attention to the development of public transportation system. They want toconstruct a multi-level system, based on public transportation, to meet the improvingneeds. Especially with years of economic development, the border between urban andrural areas is becoming vague, which leads to the integration of both parts. Xiaoshanis a developed administrative district in Hangzhou, with the highest amount of carownership. This project focuses on the urban and rural transport integration inXiaoshan District, for the update of local public transportation system is now underconstruction.This paper starts its research on the basis of foreign and domestic theoreticalresults and some real cases of urban and rural transport integration in China. Itanalyzes the basic theories in this field, and focuses on the main content and demandof passenger flow. Then it puts forwards an overall adjustment on the urban and ruraltransport integration network, and its optimization rules and some factors should beconsidered. The detailed network optimization and field optimization are alsoincluded in this part. Above all these, this paper makes an empirical research on theproject of urban and rural transport integration in Xiaoshan District. By analyzing thepresent status and demand of local public transportation, it makes a series ofsuggestions on specific adjustment in this project. This paper, may be with somedemerits, is still expected to be helpful to the following researches and practicalconstructions.
