In this paper,6KV Substation of JCIC is discussed.According to development situation of the Computer Integrated Automation System at home and abroad to meet the requirement of the Substation’s Protection, Supervising and Controlling, the Computer Integrated Automation System of6KV JCIC Substation was designed and constructed.During the building process of system, the main job has been done as follows:First of all,the advantages of the Computer Integrated Automation System of the substation、structures of the system、communication forms were described and analyzed to confirm a layered structure、a form of the combination between concentration switchboard and decentralization switchboard for the system and the Ethernet of the forms of bus topology construction for the communication network.Second, a legible circumstance and characteristic of the project determined the design condition and the design principle, according to the primary electrical scheme to design the scope and function of the system and to select the suitable hardware and software of the system.Finally, a system modeling was built and the electrical calculation software was used to make the power system protection setting and coordinating among each measurement and protection function.Now, the system has been put into use.The conclusion is obtained, the accurate control, smart response control and reliable data-transmit system realized.The system is easy to operate and maintenance, and a high technology level is reached.
