With the rapid development modern industrial technology, the trend of structuresbecome more and more to large-scale, complexity and flexibility, at the same time thefunctions of structure become more complexity and diversification, because of smallviscorse damp of this structures, the response of vibration of the structure cannotdecrease fast by itself under large extra-excitation, so in order to make full use of thefunction of structure and to ensure the safety and durability,the vibration control of thisbuildings appears especially important in present.This paper expounds that the research status, development and application of thestructure vibration control issues in engineering and introduces the principle of TMDsystem and optimal parameters. Taking the coal gasification-high rise frame structure ofindustrial building of some group as the research object, and using the method of finiteelement analysis, as well as the theory of vibration and tuned mass damper and thefinite element software ANSYS to control the vibration of the plant, in which theauxiliary equipment of the gasifier is adopted as the inertial mass of TMD system. Thevibration response of the structure are calculated with ANSYS software undersinusoidal excitation and three kinds of typical earthquake wave respectively.Comparison of the effective of vibration control, which is aimed at the displacement,velocity and acceleration of each layer of workshop, is undertaken between before andafter the TMD system used in the plant, the displacement, velocity and acceleration ofeach year of workshop.The main researches are as follows:1. Taking the construction drawing provided by some Design Institute as reference,and using ANSYS software to establish three dimensional solid model of gasification–high level framework plants, the basic dynamic properties of the structure aredetermine by modal analysis.2. Considering the dynamic characteristics of the plant gasification furnace work, andanalysis the cause of the structure vibration, the sinusoidal excitation is adopted as thetype of preliminary identified for to simulated the actual excitation. Using ANSYSsoftware to analyze the dynamic response under the external load. 3. Consider the plant’s actual situation, this paper focuses on how to avoid theproblems of resonance structure, and reduce the amplitude of vibration and so on, Bydesigning a more reasonable damping control system TMD through seeking TMDoptimal parameters, the structure has been well controlled after the structure applyingTMD system.4. Comparative analysis the displacement, velocity, acceleration control effect of theplant in the application of the TMD system before and after under eternal loads.Simulations show that taking TMD system as the measures of vibration control of thisplant is feasible.
