The intelligent power distribution system is an important part toaccomplish the Smart Grid with Chinese characteristics. Since modernbuildings’ functions become more and more complicated, their dimensionsbecome larger and there are more equipments to serve the buildings. As aresult, the reliable, intelligent and automatic requirements of the distributionsystem in monitor control and protect aspects become higher. In order toachieve optimal running of the building, a set of advanced and perfect powerdistribution and control system is needed to keep the equipments and theirpower conditions under control. Meanwhile, the energy conservation ofBuilding Electrical System also require the designer make the powerdistribution, lighting, building equipment manager system much morereasonable according to building’s using functions,design standards and otherrequirements to ensure reliability, economy, flexibility and efficiency. Thus,utilize intelligent power distribution system in civil architecture electricaldesign has its’ necessity.The biggest difference between intelligent power distribution system andcommon power distribution system is the intelligent one has communicationfunction. That’s the reason why the word “intelligent” comes from and it’s themain research content of this dissertation. On the context that the powerdistribution system is stable and reliable, how to apply the latest electricaltechnology and products in project design, how to make the design not onlyconform to the in-operation standards but also bring convenience in dailymanagement and maintenance is the main research purpose of thisdissertation. The substation power monitoring system, residual current fire alarmsystem, intelligent emergency lighting system and floodlighting controlsystem were mentioned in this dissertation. In this dissertation, the structuralstyle, communication means, basic function, basic principle, features, andattentions in project design of these four systems were detailed discussed.With the combination of requirements of some in-operation codes andstandards, the design ideas and effects of these systems were also discussed inthis dissertation. Through the comparison between several design schemes,the advantages and disadvantages of these systems applied in project designwere concluded. In the end of this dissertation, the personal opinion of therelation of these four systems was given and how to connect them wasdiscussed. A personal expectation of the development of intelligent powerdistribution system and some improvement suggestions were given at last.
