Since the rapid development of semiconductor chip technology and information technology, as well as the continuous improvement of living level, the requirement of a convenient, information-based intelligent lighting systems is becoming stronger. To solve the problem such as low controllable appearanceand serious energy consumption, an intelligent lighting system with low-power wireless technology and LED control technology was designed. The thesis focuses on the design of LED intelligent lighting control system based on lowing power ways. Different methods and techniques were used to reduce power consumption in hardware and software design to achieve lower system power consumption. In the hardware design, an highly integrated chip CC2530 was used as the core of the LED node in the intelligent lighting control system. Chip SD42524 was used as the LED driver, which was designed based on the constant current source, resulting in a high efficiency as compared to traditional LED driver. In software design, the sleep mechanisms and communication strategies of LED nodes were analyzed based on the proposed power management policies as well as the communication protocol optimized hardware control algorithms, by the relationship between sleep duration and power using, the best sleep strategies to reduce system power consumption was obtainedFinally, after the comparison test with two commercial LED lighting control systems under the same intensity lighting efficiency and total power consumption compare LED nodes. Compare with the average of the corresponding parameter of comparison products, LED efficiency of the designed system were 4.18% and4.91% higher, respectively. Meanwhile, under the same lighting effects, the total power consumption of LED nodes decreased by 4.93% and5.14%, respectively.
