Resource depletion, environmental degradation, has becoming human’s mostcommon problem. Building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society is thetheme of contemporary social construction and development, the construction industry isone of the most serious energy consumption industries, to do better in the energy savingwork of the construction industry has an important significance for the construction of“two-oriented” society. The methods of low-carbon architecture design in the architectural design industryrise up to the architect’s own sense of responsibility and mission to explore moreenergy-efficient design strategies. In recent years, high-tech parks develop the lowpollution and high value-added high-tech industry, such as new energy, new materials, biotechnology, information technology, marine technology, environmental technology, develop the circular economy, to create a low-carbon high-tech park. The high-tech parkoffice buildings service the staff directly, for in line with the “two-oriented” communityspirit and the image of their own technology needs better, the construction of low-carbonoffice buildings in the high-tech park becomes an important trend. In this paper, based on the author’s participated experience in a number of high-techpark office building designs and the research of a large number of the office buidings inthe high-tech parks, analyzed the use of low-carbon design methods, summarized thecommon low-carbon strategies, for carbon emissions as the basic standard, focusing on avariety of strategies in the role of research for carbon emissions. The paper is composed of four parts. The first part described the21st centuryresources and the environment of the grim situation and related concepts like low-carbonarchitecture; the second part discussed the basic theories as the development features ofthe high-tech park office buildings, low-carbon design principles and energy consumptioncharacteristics; the third part focus on the high-tech park office buildings in the parkplanning level, architectural design level, interior design level and carbon emissionsinventory and other specific policy content discussed in detail; the fourth part take the Wuhan new energy research center design for example to describes how to use theselow-carbon strategies in the design of high-tech office park office buildings.
