Tunnel construction field monitoring is an important part of the New Austrian TunnelingMethod construction technology, the monitoring information not only can give the scientificjudgment to the safety of wall rock and tunnel support structure, but also provide the effectualfoundation of project optimization design, construction insurance and construction quality;and still could gather experience for similar tunnel projects.This paper relied on the Swire highway Xishan tunnel construction site, on the tunnelconstruction monitoring problem at the present stage, proposed and designed wireless tunnelhealth monitoring system which is contactless, Real-time safe and reliable. Through layinglaser ranging sensor, setting up data acquisition network, automatically pick the data and sendit to DTU, and then send to remote management of server-side, for management systemsanalysis and processing, thus to realize the tunnel health monitoring remoteThis design based on the requirements of tunnel structure health monitoring, dataacquisition hardware system use Non-contact laser ranging sensor; set up the Zigbee reticularnetwork inside the tunnel, connect network terminal node to ranging sensor, to achieve thecave data wireless acquisition; use GPRS DTU to send the data collected in the network toremote management server by SMS at tunnel entrance.Then develop the tunnel health monitoring remote management system software whichis based on B/S framework independently, the software use the Visual Studio.NET2010development platform and SQL Server2005as backstage database system; this software setdata acquisition, input, inquiry, analysis, generate reports and Web publishing in one, and willrealize the function of data analysis and Internet online operation.Though the design of the tunnel health remote monitoring system still notcommencement of commercial operation, it can provide some of the applicable value to thesimilar project.
