The Study On Planning Of The Historic District Conservation Of Community-development-based

As the carrier of urban culture and memory, historic district are not only the showingwindows through which city expresses herself, but also the epitome of the social life in aparticular period. Currently, China is experiencing a double economic socialtransformation, and during this historical period, human-oriented sustainable developmentshould be valued on the basis weakening the social contradiction. With the continuousdeepening of all innovations, urban planning is changed from static functional planning todynamic participatory planning. As the social development of the historic district does notget the attention they deserve, causing the protection to the historic district isunsustainable in a certain degree and arousing series of problems, also, the protectionwork has got into trouble.The thesis has studied the community development in the historic district and thecorresponding protection strategy towards historic district, covering five main parts: Thefirst part introduce the study background; summarize the research at home and abroad;state the research purpose and significance; and lay down the research method and framebased on specifying the research content and scope. The second part discriminate thecorrelative terms, summarize related research achievements, and establish the theoreticalbasis for the thesis by pointing out the essence of sustainable protection for historic districtbased on summing up and analyzing the historic protection evolution practice from homeand abroad. The third part firstly summarize the difficulty of the sustainable protection forhistoric street and then analyze the difficulty from the view of community development inhistoric district and from the view of that under protection planning; secondly, focusing onthe characteristics of community development in historic district, the thesis put forwardthe planning policy to combine the historic district protection with communitydevelopment, providing methodological guideline for the following research. The fourthpart point out four changes of community-development-basis historic district protectionplanning methods at first; then state the main content of current investigation to historicdistrict that based on community development, and of protection planning bydemonstrating the dynamic balance between the purpose of historic street protection and community development, making historic street protection as the main frame, integratingthe content of current investigation and planning; finally put forward the propasal forrelated policy and regulation. The fifth part focuse on the developing environment andcurrent status of1-5Road arcade district in Qinzhou City, usecommunity-development-basis historic districtconservation strategy to carry on theempirical research, bring out the general strategy of protection and development, as asupplement for its protection and use of relevant research, and introduce the conceptiveplanning and designing schemes.It is hoped that by studying the planning for community-development-basis historicdistrict protection, based on current city development level and economic societyenvironment of our country, the thesis would provide practical planning technology andmethodological guide to optimize historic district protection, thus utilize the planningmanagement to create a harmony historic district where economy, culture and society candevelopsimultaneously.
