The Design Research And Development Strategy Of Urban Intelligent Transportation System

The domestic and international researches have proved that developing publictransportation is the most effective measures to solve the growing problems of the demandingand supplying issues in urban transportation, particularly the environmental, economic andsecurity issues caused by traffic congestions.It can achieve the prior development of bus only by giving priority to the development ofbus, transportation infrastructure and bus operation management, changing the citizens’concept, under the principle of improving the service standard and capacity.Based on the analysis of the current situations and problems about intelligenttransportation at home and abroad, taking the NO.25bus in Beijing as an example, this paperdesigns the monitoring system and the strategies about the bus-running intervals from theview of the city intelligent transportation. It also studies the intelligent transportationmanagement system with the technology of RFID, stating its significance, and the videomonitoring system with the technology of3G. Meanwhile, this paper gives some suggestionsabout the development tendency of intelligent transportation.
