| During recent years,with the rapid development of economy in China,the numbers of automobiles has increased enormously,which also brought serious traffic problems.One of the effective ways to handle these problems is to develop the public transportation vigorously.In this paper,the public transportation intelligent scheduling and remote control system is one part of the Intelligent Transportation System(ITS).This system can implement real-time monitoring of public transportation vehicles,real-time obtaining the number of people who get on or get off and real-time computing situations of traffic jams.This system can realize inelligent scheduling.Reasonable arrangement of bus departure time and visiting the site,it can make public transportation operation more smoothly and save everyone’s time,etc.In this paper,the main work done in this paper as follows:1)Introduced the basic technology of smart phones.This paper introduced the related technologies of smart phones,such as A-GPS positioning technology,GIS geographical information technology,wireless communication technology and other technology theory.Through the introduction about theory of these technologies,it proves that the smart phone have superiority and feasibility as a public transportation of the on-board equipment.2)Design of hardware and software for the public transportation remote control system.Public transportation remote control system is a modern intelligent transportation system,which consists of Global Positioning System,Geographic Information System,wireless communication technology,CAN bus technology and other related technology.The working principle of public transportation remote control system is as follows:The car sensor information is sent to the on-board smartphone by the Bluetooth device.Smartphones decode the information and conduct A-GPS positioning of real-time.At the same time the information is displayed on the screen and is sent to the monitoring center server by wireless communication.The server collects handles and makes use of the data.Then the server will send information to the on-board smartphone to arrange bus driving.At same time,the monitoring center can view all information in the server through the browser.According to different users(ordinary users and administrators),the owner of smartphones can examine different information of bus.3)Testing remote control system of public transportation.By Lab VIEW software,public transportation simulation platform has been established to replace the real bus operation.This can test the whole system operation process.The results indicate that remote control system runs effectively and obtains the expected goal.At the same time,by pressure testing on the server,the results show that the server can connect multiple devices and operate in wholesome condition.But the server’s processing speed is reduced.This phenomenon can explains the conclusion of the network delay testing that with the increasing number of the on-board smartphones which are connecting to the server,the time of data to be sent and received is longer.4)The intelligent scheduling method has been studied.As a bridge to remote control system,this paper studies the system applicable calculation method,such as calculating the crowded degree of the Speed-Saturation method,departure time interval of the Neural Network method,arriving time prediction of the Block Replacement method,and the beyond station scheduling method. |
