The harmonious development between urban transportation and environment is one ofthe important targets of the city construction in21stcentury. As one of the important symbolsof city modernnization, colored pavement can effectively improve the space environment ofroads, coordinating them with the surrounding buildings. Besides, Colored Pavement can alsoeffectively relieve the Urban Heat Island Effect and improve the citizens’ living environment,all of which will enhance the charm and image of the city.In addtion, Colorfed Pavement cannot only meet the basic functions of road, but also strengthen the road visibility throughspecial colors and divide the road into different traffic regions according to their differentcharacteristics. Therefore, colored pavement is effective in traffic guidance and warning, so asto effectively improve the road capacity and avoid traffic accidents, which will furtherenhance the road amenity and safety.Based on the theory of polymer chemistry and polymer physics, the paper selects the rawmaterials for preparation of cementing material of Colorful Pavement, making an in-depthstudy of the interaction mechanism between raw materials and determining the technologyprocess and the main technological parameters for preparing the cementing material ofColorful Pavement. Based on the above studies, the paper analyses the influence law oftechnological parameter on the performance of cementing material under different levels bymeans of orthogonal experiment and extremum difference analysis, finding out the significantparameter factors that affects the performance indexs of cementing material and determiningthe optimal technological parameters for preparing the cementing material.On the basis of the above study on the optimal process and conditions of preparationtechnology, the paper finds out the major and minor relationship and the significant levelabout the influence of components on the performance of cementing material by the means oforthogonal experiment and extremum difference analysis. And by the use of the data analysissoftware--origin, the paper finds out the influence law of the corresponding index underdifferent levels of main controlling factors and gives the reasonable range of mixing amountfor each group.The designing method of the matching proportion of Colorful Pavement mixing stuff isproposed, including the mixture type, the gradation composition and the optimal content ofcementing material and pigments. And, through such tests as rutting test, low-temperaturebending test, immersion marshall test and freeze-thaw split test, the paper comes to theconclusion that all the indexes of Colored Pavement Binder satisfy the current standarded requirements for modified asphalt, some even surpass the standards.In the end, this research finds out a comprehensive evaluation index---PCD to evaluatethe colour durability in colored asphalt pavement and constructs a three-layer ("5-2-1")system, a comprehensive evaluation index system.This system can be used not only for theevaluation of the color durability in colored asphalt pavement, but also for the classification ofeach subitem index and it also presents the evaluation methods and norms for both thecomprehensive index and the subitem index.
