Intelligent high-voltage switchgear equipment is a key component of intelligentsubstation system and intelligent power system, and it integrates information collection,transmission, process and communications. Recently, with the building of the strongintelligent grid and smart transformer substation in many countries, intelligent digital devicesexperienced a long-term development.High isolation switches are the most equipment in using, and they have been used inconjunction with the circuit breaker switch. Intelligent controller to high voltage circuitbreaker has rapid development and widely used, but high-voltage isolating switch controller islagging behind in development and it is not intelligent. Intelligent control of the circuitbreaker also proposed requirements for high voltage isolation switch intelligent control. It isnecessary to research and development intelligence components of high-voltage isolationswitch that have ability of self-monitoring, self-diagnosis and self-control. Also theseintelligence components can provide a technical basis and equipment protection for securityand stability controlling the power system network.The research on design for110KV high-voltage isolation switch intelligent controller is apart of the project of intelligent component cabinet to110KV high-voltage switch. Forfeatures of110KV High Voltage Switchgear equipment using, it is provided and designed aprogram about intelligent control to high-voltage isolating switch in this paper. We designed aswitch control module (Switch Control Module abbreviated SCM) using high-performancemicroprocessors ARM and CPLD as the control core, power electronic devices such asSolid-state relay and optical coupling element, with a variety of sensors like as temperatureand humidity sensors, angle sensors and so on. SCM system integrated into high-voltageswitch intelligent equipment for operation control, state acquisition, fault detection,information and communication, so that the isolating switch could have intelligent capabilitiesof self-test, self-diagnosis, self-control and data transfer.Finally, from the perspective of the overall system design of the electromagneticcompatibility, especially in the design of the controller anti-interference abilitySCM module was designed based on ARM and CPLD. Firstly, this paper describes the hardware design ideas, methods, and circuit from the view of hardware that contains themotor control circuit, the relay driver circuit, the temperature and humidity detection circuit,and so on. Secondly, there is a description on the software programs by the view of software.What’s more, we elaborated the design process of program, algorithms and program code andits simulation debugging. Finally, it describes the design of the electromagnetic compatibilityespecially the controller anti-interference ability from the perspective of the overall system.Debug analysis shows that the module of SCM can make a good work to isolatehigh-voltage switch on the control, detection and information transmission, and it is able tomeet the requirements of intelligent functions such as self-test, self-diagnosis, self-control anddata transfer in engineering. This design of SCM has some of the engineering value andtechnical meanings.
