With China’s expressway construction key area transfer from east to the west gradually. Limited by the Mountainous terrain,Continuous long steep downslope construction has become an inevitable part in western expressway construction. Because of the steady acceleration effection of gravity,Driver need to brake frequently to control the speed of the automotive vehicle. But frequent brake should lead brake equipment to "hot recession",this may lead to speed out of control, the accident risk increase greatly. Therefore, develop a suitable antiskid road surface for continuous long steep downslope sections to improve safety performance in the western mountainous area,Reduce accident risk on continuous long steep downslop section build in mountainous areas is of great significance.This paper based on the subject "Research on the viscoelasticity antiskid pavement used for the continuous long steep downslope" from hubei Hangzhou—Ruili expressway construction headquarters. For the purpose of use waste rubber tyre to improve the sliding performance of the asphalt pavement surface. Analysised the friction mechanism, polymer viscoelasticity theory, Research possibility of waste rubber tyre particles added in the asphalt mixture, optimize the materials composition of foundational asphalt mixture before research on the foundational gradation without rubber particles, Further search for the optional rubber modified asphalt mixture indoor molding process after joining the rubber particles gradation, By using quadratic orthogonal test, the factor influence the compact effect after the rubber partical join into the asphalt mixture,compaction temperature, compaction process, compaction times and nrubber surface treatment technology are discussed, When compaction effect meet the design requirements,Road performance tests are carried out. The right mix scheme and rolling forming process are determined, Based on Simple peformace test, dynamic modulus and damping performance arestudied, Anti-slid mechanisme of the viscoelastic damping anti-slide surface is revealed.viscoelastic anti-slid test road is constructed to verification the field construction technologyand the long-term sliding performance changing regularity under the load, research results provide theoretical basis and new ideas for the improvement of sliding performance on continious downhill sections, also a reference for the construction of the asphalt pavement in similar terrain sectionsThe research supported by the subject "Research on the viscoelasticity antiskid pavement used for the steep slope sections"from hubei hangzhou—Ruili expressway construction headquarters.
