High modulus asphalt concrete improves the modulus of itself, Making high modulus of asphalt concrete pavement anti-rutting performance got obvious improvement. Improve the resistance of asphalt concrete pavement fatigue performance. Extend the service life of the road. So improved the driving comforty and safety. In this paper we studies of the adding PR FLEX modulus asphalt mixture’s mix proportion design and road performance research with adding the PR FLEX modulus. Some beneficial conclusions are obtained, to promote the high modulus asphalt concrete to further promote using of has certain guiding significance.First using the method of Marshall tested and analyzed the high modulus asphalt concrete mixture ratio. Giving the mixture mixing time is15s, Mixing temperature of175℃, Best compaction temperature is162℃to167℃. Analysis is presented to add0.7%the PR FLEX high modulus additives, AC-20、AC-25、EME14、EME20、 Sup20、Sup25six gradation asphalt mixture’s best YouShi proportion respectively is4.3%、4.2%、4.6%、4.4%、4.38%、4.1%.Tested and analyzed High modulus asphalt mixture’s mechanical properties, Through the test found that high modulus asphalt mixture compressive strength, splitting strength and layers of shear strength got dramatically increasing.Adding the PR FLEX modulus, The asphalt mixture of dynamic stability the biggest improved34times, relative deformation amplitude of the biggest drop to81%. Showing that high modulus asphalt mixture of high temperature performance is very good. After adding the PR FLEX modulus, low temperature performance of asphalt mixture down a bit, but the impact is not big. Test analysis found that high modulus asphalt mixture compared with common asphalt mixture, the fatigue life, fatigue strength got significant improvement. Anti-fatigue performance is very good. High modulus asphalt mixture remnants stability relative got big, showing that high modulus asphalt mixture have good water stability. So the high modulus asphalt mixture compared with the common asphalt mixture, the road performance is very good.Through the experiment research and analysis, high modulus asphalt mixture mechanics performance has improved significantly, the road performance is very good, Suitable for this experiment on the project to use.
