Test And Research On Pavement Performance Of Buton Rock Asphalt And Modified Mixture

With the development of modern road traffic, show the characteristics of the trafficvolume, axle-load and channelized traffic, increasing demands on the asphalt pavement, theordinary asphalt is often difficult to competent. Buton rock asphalt modified asphalt modifierhas good high temperature stability and low temperature crack resistance, and good durability,it is widely used in Indonesia highways, airport runways and bridge deck pavement.This paper through traditional indoor experiment to study the impact of different doses ofrock asphalt asphalt mortar, and large indoor molding specimens with pavement coreperformance test, compare Rock asphalt mixture with AH-70asphalt mixture, SBS modifiedasphalt mixture road performance differences and focus on comparing the high-temperaturestability, water stability, and low temperature cracking performance, detection, validation andtest road rock asphalt construction technology.Study the impact of different doses of rock asphalt asphalt mortar traditional indoor testresults show that when the dosage is less than20%, the content increased significantlyinfluence the performance of asphalt, more than20%, its performance is basicallyunchanged.Indoor water stability test results, the rock asphalt mixture water stability can beimproved. Pavement core samples of water stability test results show that the rock asphaltmixture with SBS modified asphalt mixture to freeze-thaw splitting tensile strength residueMarshall stability test results are almost the same, both performance relative matrix asphalthas greatly improved, can well meet the requirements of the construction specifications humidareas of water stability.Through economic and technical analysis of the modified asphalt mixing rock asphaltconcrete pavement has a good social and economic benefits, in line with the requirements ofthe actual situation of highway construction, and has a good application prospect.
