| Foreign experts with a highly education background and diversity occupational experiences, they can easily have a clear and sharp idea about modern city living experiences.This study mainly based on two parts, the theory construction and application of individual experience, local spatial characteristics. Using interview method, asks foreign experts compare their living experiences in Changsha with their living experiences in other cities with particularly interest in answering the question "how dose Changsha compare to other cities that you have lived in? What are the main factors do you think about livable city?" With particularly interest in the question "Have urban planning practices tended to homogenize modern urban life?" After the interview, the study chosen7special spot in Changsha,4is the living place and3is the historic district to compare.In chapter2, includes2parts:the body experiencetheory and Changsha’s urban living space quality research, as well as defining the selection criteria of the foreign experts. The application of these theoretical approaches to the questionnaire was the quality of living space in Changsha city for foreign experts to conduct basic research. The issue involves the transportation, urban green space, the construction of public cultural venues, living space, commercial space, historic districts, space to conduct basic research in Changsha City.In chapter3, based on the the basic research results from chapter2, Combined with basic research results to design a semi-structured interview outline. Summarize by the way for foreign experts face-to face interviews, and structural problems.The4th chapter is mainly based on the spatial characteristics of foreign residence and purchase of real estate experts in Changsha, select4strongest feelings of the living area to explore the features.Chapter5, the paper study on the urban character of the historical and cultural context of Changsha City as a starting point, select the three regional characteristics of the historical commercial district a comparative study.Finally, the study summarized the characters of Changsha urban living experiences in7points, convenience of space functional composite, urban transportation systems, urban spatial diversity, pedestrian traffic nodes in space, streets and details of the building environment and urban historical context, to explore new directions for the development of Changsha urban living space. |
