Zhoukou region is the ancient state of Chen, has a long historyand splendid culture, capital three times, and three times as country. Founder ofTaoism Lao Tzu Chen was born in the county suffering, here is the birthplaceof Taoism."World civil ancestors, kings of division" of Confucius, three timesto Chen, the formation of Confucian doctrine laid the ideological foundation.Zhoukou area because of its geographical location, cultural environment,political, economic and natural factors, etc., set in a large number of landscapetypes, such as the early Ming Dynasty of private gardens, temple gardens,College garden of the Qing Dynasty royal gardens, private gardens and so on.However, instances of Zhoukou area of the ancient garden garden onlypart of the Ming and Qing period remains, the current area of Zhoukou nosystematic study of the ancient landscape, especially the development and changes in landscape and garden features, the so Zhoukou study of ancientgardens is to fill the local study of the history of ancient gardens urgent need.This selection of Ming and Qing Dynasties have more evidence for the study ofancient gardens, based on the analysis of a large number of relevant literaturein Zhoukou region, combined with classical Chinese garden system look andthe overall development process, Zhoukou region of the ancient Ming andQing Dynasties background landscape gardeners, garden types and typicalexamples of the garden to sort out Analysis, Summary Zhoukou area featuresancient landscape gardening and horticultural skills made features, revealing itsclassical gardens in China’s position and value system.Through analysis and study about the numerous ancient landscape garden,the overall characteristic about ancient garden of Ming and Qing Dynasties inZhoukou region has the following three aspects:The first, has cultural heritage, structured development process;In second, with strong regional characteristics;In third, landscape type diversity and abundance;The Zhoukou area because of its geographical location, cultural environment, political economy and natural factors, numerous landscape typesset in one, many a garden, which forms in the process of development andcombine with climate,environment, residential and other characteristics inZhoukou area, of the, embody a concentrated reflection about the developmentand gardening characteristics of Zhoukou ancient garden as well as itsimportant position in China classical gardens development history.
