With the rapid development of socio-economic, demands of the quality, di-versity of effects and reliability on lighting are also constantly improved. Underthe background of the increasingly serious energy crisis, energy-saving lightinghas also received attention from various countries. Therefore, the intelligent con-trol of lighting and energy saving is bound to become the development directionof the lighting system.This paper takes LED lighting control system based digitaladdressable lighting interface protocol(DALI) as the research object, on the basisof deep understanding of DALI communication protocol and LED lighting prin-ciples, desighed a DALI-based LED lighting in the main control system and LEDconstant current drive circuit, brought out the three-state feedback solutions forthe LED lighting.Firstly, we introduce the basic knowledge of the DALI protocol’s regulation,basic architecture, electrical specifications, instruction system, compared withthe DALI protocol and several other of the domestic and foreign mainstream pro-tocol, analysis of their advantages and disadvantages, and then describes thecharacteristics of the LED light source and the basic concepts related to LEDlighting control technology.We designed the hardware systems of the DALI-based LED lighting controlsystem, elaborated in detail the selection of the microcontroller, the master-slavecontrol system communication interface to communicate with the host computer,human-computer interaction, LED constant current driver circuit, increased thereliability design of a key link in the hardware circuit.The paper presents software design on the Lighting control system’s hard-ware, including the main and slave controller and the bus data exchange, the hostcontroller and PC communication, the design ideas dimming processing and pro-gram flow. According to the shortcomings that the traditional lighting systems can notfeedback the working state from the node, we presents the three-state feedbackmechanism of the control unit, drive unit, controlled unit status in LED lightingcontrol system, study the realization method of the three-state feedback. Finally,the paper describes the factors affecting the reliability of the system, focusing onthe reliability of the system from the system’s hardware and software.
