The motor as a kind of device converting electrical energy into mechanical energyplays a very important role in the industry and agriculture. Electrical energy consumptionof the motor is so large that controlling the motor power consumption is significant for thedevelopment of economy. Double-fed motor has the characteristics of AC induction motorand synchronous motor. It is widely used in the industrial and agricultural production, andthe double-fed motor has a good application prospect in the energy saving control system.This paper took the double-fed motor as the research object and studied the energy savingcontrol technology about the double-fed motor. The research contents are as follows:Firstly, according to the working principle and the mathematical model of the double-fed motor, analyze the motor running condition and excitation control characteristics of therotor side, research the control strategy of the double-fed motor tracking the load to realizeenergy-saving operation, laid a theoretical foundation for the study of the full text.Secondly, according to design requirement of rotor excitation controller of double-fedmotor, research inverter control algorithms and choose the SVPWM algorithm as thecontrol algorithm of excitation controller, meanwhile, completing the hardware design ofexcitation controller based on the DSP(TMS320F2812), the output voltage and frequencyand the output phase of the controller can be adjusted continuously to meet requirementsfor double-fed motor rotor excitation.Design the hardware platform of the double-fed motor load tracking and energy-saving control system, and use the platform to do lots of control experiments about thedouble-fed motor, and analyze the related experimental data, to verify the excitation andconstant speed characteristics of the motor and the correctness of load tracking controlstrategy and the stability of the experimental system.The theoretical and experimental results show that the proposed double-fed motorload tracking energy-saving control strategy is feasible and can control motor speedthrough changing excitation frequency. Track the load to change the motor power factor allowing the motor to feed reactive power to the grid for the power compensation. It hasgreat significances to improve the operating efficiency of the grid and double-fed motorenergy-saving control, and it has a wide range of application prospects.
