Engineering project has gradually become an important part of socialdevelopment; it has the characteristics of great investment, long period, high risk andone-time construction. To ensure the smooth construction of engineering project, weneed to take necessary measures, such as implementing construction procedurestrictly, following the construction codes, etc. However, in the operation of theproject, there must be some uncertain factors, which will affect the quality, progressand efficiency of the project. Policymakers need to forecast and control the possibilityof such incidents happened. Therefore, project risk management is the integral part ofproject.With the rapid development of economy, science and technology has become aimportant means of profit making. Project gradually enter the formal, rigorous andhigh-end fields with the development of the society, as a result, engineering industrycompetition is increasingly fierce. In this case, how to ensure the smooth progress ofthe project and its high efficiency and stable development is obviously important.Therefore, perfect engineering risk management system is bound to be one of themost important aspects of the research project; the study of engineering projectmanagement problems has important theoretical and practical significance.At present, many projects in the domestic exist phenomenon that time limit for aproject or investment is out of control. It is may be caused by the problems such aspoor management and so on, but the main reason should be insufficient identificationfor the target project risk factors, improper policies and poor supervision, etc. With the scale of the project becoming bigger and bigger, the technology is also becomingmore and more, meanwhile, the potential risk also tend to be more complicated.Therefore, the research for the engineering project risk management is imminent.This article analysis the project risk based on the project of Tianjin TianTieGroup office building. After collecting a large number of data, documents and expertopinion, we research and analysis the engineering project risk. First of all, through thestudy of the document literature, the methods of risk identification were analyzed andsummarized in this paper, and then, this paper makes the risk identification to thetarget project using literature method and survey method and summarizes the risk list.Secondly, this paper analysis a variety commonly used evaluation methods of risk,such as analytic hierarchy process, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, theMonte Carlo method, etc. In this paper, quantitative and qualitative analysiscombining evaluating index and the subjective and objective evaluation combiningmethod are both used. We mainly apply analytic hierarchy process and fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the importance of the various indicatorsof risk, the probability of occurrence and the total project risk. On the basis of riskidentification and evaluation, project decision makers and risk managers need todevelop appropriate risk control measures and construct project risk managementsystem according to the characteristics of the proposed projects. Combining with theengineering characteristics of the target project, this paper mainly put forwardsystematic risk management methods (the risk retention, risk transfer, risk control andso on) for the target project. Finally, considering the current international project riskresearch hot spots and characteristics of the domestic research on project risk, thispaper put forward project risk management information system. The system is basedon the application of computer technology, network technology, and databasetechnology. Definitely, we need to set up risk database and type in the engineeringdata which has been built, the related literature and the risk management plan, and then the function such as information data retrieval and comparison can be realized.This paper also puts forward the direction and method for the system, view to providecertain reference and reference for engineering project risk management research inthe future.
