Research On Management Complexity Analysis And Evaluation During Life Cycle Of Engineering Project

During the course of engineering project practices, complexity management has decisive effect on the completion of an engineering project. For the better management of complexity, research directs the management complexity in engineering project, exploring the characteristic of management complexity and evaluation method during engineering project life cycle.First, this research summarizes the situation about how complexity science is used in engineering project management and elaborates related research findings. Through the analysis of the main practices during the engineering project life cycle, it elaborates connotation and characteristic of engineering project management complexity with organizational complexity, decision complexity and the complexity of control. Moreover, it shows the changing attribution of management complexity in the project life cycle. After that, evaluation elements are organized through the arrangement of literatures, and management complexity evaluation method based on AHP is established. Finally, it shows the evaluation process of engineering project management complexity. Besides, the method and steps to realize the key influencing factors of engineering project management complexity are also established. This research has certain reference significance for the complexity management of an engineering project.
