As an important industry of the national economy,the optimization of the organizational mode of engineering construction and the promotion of the core competitiveness of enterprises have always been the key issues in the process of construction industry development.In order to promote the structural optimization of construction industry and improve the efficiency of project management,the concept of "whole process engineering consulting" was proposed in due course.In this paper,the work breakdown structure(WBS)is used to decompose the project construction process into several work units,and the sequence of 0 1 is used to represent the implementation of project activities.The project complexity model is constructed to obtain the Lempel-Ziv complexity value of the corresponding model,and the project complexity value is used to represent the management efficiency.This paper analyzes the complexity of project construction,and compares the traditional project management mode,the whole process engineering consulting management mode and the engineering procurement construction mode in different construction stages.The main studies are summarized as follows:(1)By using the questionnaire,the implementation progress of each work unit of WBS is investigated and sampled,the behavior decision-making of the participants corresponding to each work unit is obtained,and the probability parameters of the completion of each work unit are determined to establish the project complexity model.(2)Through the method of controlling variables,the pre project,mid project and post project of the traditional project management mode,whole process engineering consulting mode and the engineering procurement construction mode are compared and analyzed in this paper to build the complexity model and calculates the complexity value of the whole construction process.The impact of different project management modes on the whole process of project construction is horizontallycompared and analyzed.Meanwhile,the differences as well as the situation reflected in the management efficiency between the traditional project management mode,whole process engineering consulting mode and the engineering procurement construction mode for the same construction stage are vertically contrasted to achieve the evaluation of management efficiency.It is concluded that in the early,middle and late stages of project construction,whether it is absolute value or stability,the management efficiency of the whole process engineering consulting model and the project general contracting model is generally higher than the traditional project management model,especially in the early and mid-term projects.(3)The project is divided into the early stage,the middle stage and the late stage of the project again,which is subdivided into eight stages: project establishment,project pre-procedure handling,project bidding,project implementation preparation,project implementation,outdoor supporting construction,project post-acceptance,and project closing to calculate the individual complexity of each construction stage.Each construction stage is then completely subdivided into construction nodes,and the specific complexity of the complexity under the three modes is compared and analyzed.It has obtained the construction nodes in the compilation and review of design budget estimates,organization of construction drawings and review,review of secondary design and in-depth design drawings,review of engineering change visas,details of reductions in the engineering quantity list and other construction nodes,with higher complexity values.(4)The decision-making parameters of all parties involved in the early stage of the project is changed to establish the complexity model.The change of the complexity value in the middle and later stage of the project is discussed,and the impact of the early stage of the project on the project construction is analyzed in this paper.It is concluded that the probabilistic decision-making probability of the participating parties in the early stage of the project is controlled within the range of70%-80%,and the management efficiency is optimal.(5)Through the selection of project management mode,the distribution of work focus in the project construction stage and the preparation level of the preliminary work of the project,the efficiency of project construction management can be controlled.(6)Taking Zhenjiang national fitness center project as an actual project case,the complexity of the project is analyzed in this paper.The actual results are compared with the theoretical model to verify the rationality of the complexity model,which is used to point out the advantages and problems of the project in the whole process engineering consulting mode.In this paper,the basic elements of project construction are grasped to apply the WBS and thus build a project complexity model on the basis of comparative analysis.To have a comprehensive analysis of the complexity of project construction,the management efficiency is characterized by project complexity to evaluate and control the management efficiency,which also provides theoretical and technical support for the promotion of the policy of whole process engineering consulting.
