With the development of industrial technology and the higher requirements of product quality and mechanical properties in recent years, the control for only one motor have been unable to meet the requirements of the development of modern high technology on many occasions, so people need to control multi-motor to coordinate operation. Because the traditional control method has failed to meet the accuracy requirement of multi-motor system accuracy, various intelligent control methods have applied to multi-motor synchronous control system. In the intelligent control methods, neural network is in so large amount of calculation, and predictive control has been less used. Moreover,H∞and sliding model variable structure control have difficulty in application, on the contrary, fuzzy control is relatively mature. This paper combines fuzzy control and PID to solve the problem of speed control in multi-motor synchronous control system.This paper analyzes the theory and method of multi-motor synchronous control, and to put forward a fuzzy PID control with the previous comparison. What’s more, a concept of multi-agent has been introduced, and the multi-motor synchronous control system divided into several separate system which consists of a single agent, also, several agents compose a multi-agent system. A multi-agent system has been composed by three separate motor system with the concept of multi-agent according to the Chinese Museum of Science and Technology Exhibition item "collaboration" as the subject of experimental platform. Based on the experimental platform, the hardware and software of the system have been designed respectively. In this paper, Panasonic permanent magnet synchronous servo motor and PLC have been used. The lower computer program has been written by the FPWIN GR. This paper uses the communication module COM5between the lower computers and R.S232between host computer and lower computer with MEWTOCOL agreement which has been written by VC.This paper describes a vector control based on permanent magnet synchronous servo motor system. And determine the speed loop modulator and current loop modulator through the establishment of permanent magnet synchronous motor mathematical model. And apply vector control and voltage space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) control to the closed-loop control system. According to multi-motor synchronous control system designed in this paper with master-slave control mode and cooperation with PID control through Simulink simulation, we can prove that the control system is effective and practical.
