Chemical fiber spinning system is a multi-motor synchronous drive system. The system synchronization performance has effect on the quality of chemical fiber products directly. Through analyzing the structure of the existing fiber spinning system, this paper put forward to use PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) instead of the induction motor as the drive motor for the purpose of improving the synchronization performance, saving energy and improving the overall efficiency of the system. Aiming at the fiber spinning system need of high synchronization performance and low fluctuation of speed, the paper presents a fuzzy-PID control strategy for master-slave synchronous motor in order to meet the need of the chemical fiber spinning systems.First of all, the paper writes a program for the PMSM electromagnetism design. By using the procedures to design the inductance, reactance, flux density and other parameters rationally, the paper obtains an energy-efficiency electromagnetic design scheme used on fiber spinning system. And then this paper analyzes the magnetic field of the designed PMSM such as magnetic-field distribution, back-EMF, the air gap flux density to verify the correctness and feasibility of the electromagnetic scheme.Secondly, the paper controls the PMSM used on fiber spinning system with the method of SVPWM (Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation). In accordance with their algorithm, the paper modularizes every part of the system and then simulates the system. Simulation results show that the control method has the advantages of high response speed and low torque ripple. Therefore, it can satisfy the need of fiber spinning system.Finally, the paper designs the Fuzzy-PID controller which can change PID parameters immediately according to the variation of the system state and builds the multi-motor synchronous drive system model. Based on the actual situation of the system, the paper formulates the membership function and fuzzy rule. In order to test the superiority of the control method, the paper does the contrastive simulation experiments of PID controller and Fuzzy-PID controller. Simulation results show that the Fuzzy-PID multi-PM motor synchronous drive system has the advantages of shortening the response time, improving the system dynamic and static performance, improving the synchronous accuracy. The Fuzzy-PID multi-PMSM synchronous drive system can satisfy the need of fiber spinning system.
