In the design and manufacture process of the plane, it need to use a great numberof complex aircratf structural parts,which is the important part of the plane, and alsothe important basis of the the design, manufacture and obtaining higher efficiency andgood performance. Mainly aiming at the aircratf structure parts that have bigger size,more complex structure and local feature,this article studied the modeling technologybased on the feature, and developed parameter design system and the variant designsystem based on the feature in the CATIA platform, it has certain practical signiifcancefor improving the rapid design of the plane.According to the classification of the feature, this paper made the structuralanalysis and analyzed the feature parameters; On this basis, establishing a parametricfeature template library that contains lots of aircratf structural parts with CATIAsotfware; Also in this paper, using the packaging application of the modeling methodsas the features template; By using object oriented programming and a visual interfacetechnology, this paper used CAA developed CAITA for parametric design system,which can rapidly design the same structure with different size of aircraft structure parts;This paper developed the variant design system, which can design the different structureand the different position in local shape feature of aircratf structural parts. In the designprocess,using the Excel for the corresponding data management, and to realize thedesign data preservation and recycle.The parameter design system and the variant design system can improve theefifciency of designing aircratf structure parts and the utilization rate of the existingresource.
