Land and transportation play very important roles in the urban development process. Land providesall the material necessities for the city’s production and development, serving as the driving force to andindispensible part in the city’s production and development. Meanwhile, transportation brings to the citythe human resources, logistics and information necessary to its development. Therefore, the relationshipbetween the urban transportation and the utilization of land can be described as intricate, with thedevelopment of the urban transportation guiding the utilization of the city’s land and the latter exertinggreat influence over the former.As the relationship between transport and land, Shenyang City and Fushun City also have interwovenrelations, sharing the so many common grounds. Under the market economy system, the existing urbandevelopment ideas are no longer suitable for the development of the Northeast of China. In the context ofthe revitalization of the northeast old industrial base, the construction of the Shenyang Metropolitan Areahas a very big impact on and plays a very important role in promoting the construction and development ofthe cities in the central and southern part of Liaoning Province, with Fushun City gradually becoming partof Shenyang City as an important step.With transportation as the clue, theories in geography and economics as the guide, this thesis carriesout a systematic analysis and research on the utilization of land along the Shen-Fu traffic lines. Through theresearch on different types of land along different traffic lines between Shenyang City and Fushun City, thecharacteristics and problems with the utilization of land are found out, while this thesis proposes a series ofcorrective measures to address these issues and provides rational suggestions to the utilization of land alongthe Shen-Fu traffic lines, with the hope to put forward some useful theoretical support for the constructionof Shenyang and Fushun as one city.The research carried out by this thesis is broadly divided into six parts:Chapter One mainly introduces some basic concepts, related theories and development of relatedresearch home and abroad.Chapter Two introduces the origin and current development of Shenyang and Fushun as one city, andthe overview of the traffic lines between Shenyang City and Fushun City.Chapter Three introduces the status quo of the utilization and development of the land along theShen-Fu traffic lines.Chapter Four discusses the basic problems with the utilization of the land along the Shen-Fu trafficlines, obtained through the analysis of the previous chapter.Chapter Five proposes specific measures to deal with the basic problems with the utilization of theland along the Shen-Fu traffic lines.Chapter Six is about the conclusions drawn through summarizing the previous discussion.
